DD Tarp Solo

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DD Tarp Solo is a One-Person tarp which is perfect for those outdoor adventurers who want to travel as light as possible. It is ideal for those ground-dwellers who plan to want to sleep out while carrying the minimum kit with them. It makes a great day shelter and can also be used as a one-person ground sheet.
The real beauty of the DD Tarp Solo is that of ultimate portability. The whole tarp weighs just 430g making it ideal for anyone looking for the ultimate in lightweight shelters. Despite its smaller size, the DD tarp has many of the same features as our larger tarps ensuring that it remains versatile. The Tarp Solo has 19 reinforced attachment points which allow it to be configured in many different ways. To ensure the trap remains in place during adverse weather, it comes complete with 4 guy lines and pegs to aid structural integrity.
All DD Tarps, including the Solo, are constructed from PU (3,000mm) coated polyester for weather protection and long-term durability. To further prevent to ingress of water in wet conditions, each of the tarps seams are sealed. This lightweight, yet tough material makes the tarp durable as either an outdoor shelter or groundsheet.
The tarp itself measures 2.8 x 1.5m. Although the DD Solo tarp can be used with a hammock, because of the open-ended design it doesn't offer complete protection against wind and rain (for this we would recommend using the 3x3 DD tarp). The DD Tarp Solo comes in a traditional Olive Green.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS
"My review is based on the larger version of this model which I have used for Forest Schools where I work. It has provided a great shelter and is great with all the extra loops for tieing guylines onto when you need to hook it up somewhere. "
"Great little shelter."
"just got this today and so far i love it. Plan on testing it out this weekend on a 4 day/night trip around the wicklow mountains."

"Decent quality tarp--and even better deal at current reduced/sale price. Good coverage for one person. Robust and relatively lightweight. Numerous reinforced attachments allow multiple set up options. Pegs/guy lines are v basic--they do the job, but you're likely to want to get better/lighter/stronger pegs and decent paracord, clips, etc. Can only judge long-term durability/waterproofing over time, but first use seems more than adequate--especially at the price."
