The Gransfors Large Carving Hatchet has been based on the hugely popular Gransfors Wildlife Hatchet, in fact, other than the carved handle it is pretty much exactly the same. The carved handle has been designed by woodworkers to give added grip when carving with this axe. The carving axe comes with a double-sided ground edge and a full-grain leather sheath with stud closure.
