This chunky Axe from Prandi is based on the old "German type" axe and offers a carbon steel C45/1045 head, which has been highly polished and hardened. The head weighs 1000gr or 1250gr (choose from drop down menu) and the Hickory Pole measures 60cm or 70cm and comes with a leather lanyard on the end. These axes are ideal for splitting and felling. Each axe is supplied with a sheath.

"I have been using this axe for about a week and its performing really well, I find it can easily chop through hardwood logs up to 10cm thick with a single strong chop, it also works very well as a hammer which I love as it means I only need to carry 1 tool when camping instead of 2.
