For youngsters who are starting to learn how to carve, they sometimes find it easier and safer to use a potato peeler to begin with (Forest Schools, etc).
Our peelers are some of the toughest peelers out there with a heat moulded handle providing a strong and robust peeler which is designed for tougher jobs with wood (or we have wooden handle options too). We'd recommend either for Forest School Courses and where the peelers may be used for different tasks.
