PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Our traditional Heavy-Duty Canvas tarps are made from single filled duck cotton. These heavyweight sheets are 15oz prior to treating which results in a robust weight of 21oz after being waxed (supplied waxed).

Each tarp is of a dark olive green colour, but may vary slightly from the image due to dye lots. Each tarp is incredibly heavy-duty and hard wearing, and should not be confused with the sort of tarps that are carried whilst trekking - these tarps can weigh many kilos and are primarily used as all-purpose covers or as permanent outdoor shelters.

Heavy Canvas Outdoor Tarps

Each tarp is made from very thick duck cotton canvas and will be resistant to abrasion and punctures, whilst remaining breathable. The hems and the seams are double stitched meaning that they are twice as strong. Whilst canvas tarps are 'water resistant', they are not 100% 'waterproof' although they will certainly fend off most showers. These tarps are wax treated, and may require treating again in the future - much like a waxed jacket. It is vital to only store canvas tarps once fully dry, otherwise mould or mildew can occur on the surface.

Our canvas tarps are complete with rust resistant eyelets, approx. every 60cm and the tabs are reinforced. The size of our tarp is 3.6 x 5m and weighs approx. 16.5KG.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

"Almost anyone who is looking to buy one of these will be doing so to cover something over, whether it's a load, or a piece of machinery. I bought it as I was tired of the lightweight camping tarps, which are only any use as sunshades. This, on the other hand is a bird of a much more serious feather. Having unfurled it, I will say this will not do as a hanky, no siree, bob. If you need to cover something up, then buy this. Quality tarp, quality price. We are really looking forward to using as a proper awning soon. Many many thanks."
