PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This Frosts Mora Scout 39 knife has been made with the young bushcrafter in mind, the "Woodcarving knife for Children" It comes with a stainless steel blade not quite 3.5" long, 5/8" wide, and .080" thick. There is a stamped metal guard to keep the child's fingers safe from the blade, and the 3 1/2" wood handle is sized for smaller hands. The knife comes with a leather sheath with a belt loop and snap fastener for the knife.

Please chose from the options on the drop down. The tipped version comes in only natural colour, and the rounded versions come in bright colours. All Safe 39 knives have black sheaths (not tan like the tipped version).

"Bought this for my 11 year old daughter who was inspired by some bushcraft ideas she had seen. I have no experience of this, but thought that getting a sharp knife was probably going to cause fewer accidents than her struggling with a blunt one. She has been whittling away with sticks for the last few days, sometimes making some specific projects and other times just doing it for the fun of it. It is very sharp indeed and fits well in her small hands. She is loving wearing it on her belt and feels incredibly grown-up. This has been a real hit!"

"I bought this for my 9 year old grandson who has been keen to learn some wood carving skills, since doing forest craft at school. He is over the moon with it, and (after patiently listening to my lectures about safe techniques and handling), he is now exploring whittling wood of different varieties, and confidently working on developing his skills. He loves the knife which is the perfect size and design for him, and now wants a belt to fix the lovely little sheathe on to. Oh, and I am now officially The Best Granny in the World :-) "
