CUSTOMER REVIEWS

"This is a lovely knife. Beautiful presentation and finish. the sheath I received is right handed, which is perfect for me. The leather is nice and matches the handle. The button locking is a nice function. The fire steel sits wonderfully in the sheath also. It came reasonably sharp but wont take much effort to improve upon. I've not used it heavily as yet but it feels and looks like it is knife that will last me many years to come. The service from Greenman bushcraft was also top notch. I had a query and a personal call almost immediately to confirm some details and check on my order. I will be buying more. "

"What a great Bushcraft knife the blade was nice and sharp and good quality wood scales and good quality spark stick. The only problem I had was the sheath was left handed but apart from that I would highly recommend it."

"Excellent service from these guys, the order arrived without delay. The knife itself appears to be good quality, a bit blunt out of the box but nothing that cant be put right. The only minor gripe would be the left handed sheath but I was expecting this from other reviews."

"A good looking tradional style knife to use alongside my Mora. Feels good to hold in the hand, nice weight and balance, well presented with sheath and firesteel in a presentation box, nice touch, needs a little honing before use but works well once sharpened. Must also comment on the excellent fast service from this company, will definitely be using them again. Thanks."

"After being badgered by my wife for ages to find a decent starter knife for her to use on our outdoor adventures we came across this one. the main concern for Karen was that it 1 fitted her hand comfortably, 2 looked nice and three was up to the job. For me this knife fits the bill in more ways, its traditional designe full tang, was the key but also the shape size and weight of blade was important to, its well ballanced, has a reasonably good quality leather sheath (not cheep cardboard) and also comes with a workable firesteel that with a little breaking in works well. The sheath is tight to begin with but loosens after use and holds the knife and steel securely without the fear of it falling out when climbing about or other activitys. The edge on this knife out of the box is average but with a bit of sharpening atains a razor edge and holds it well, also as its a stainless steel requires little care in the eliments. The one obscurity is the sheath being for left handed carry but its no big deal and i prefer to carry knives on the left hip and karen has taken to this practis as well even thouugh we are both right handed (less snagging when carying things like brushwood. It comes in a nice presentation box (brownie points for me) and the only mods I find needed is a sharpen to give it a professional edge, something you would want to do yourself anyway as everyone has a unique angle and eye when sharpening (just ask any chef if you can sharpen his knives and you will get a firm no even if your a chef yourself). It was posted and delivered with excellent speed, communications wer excelent and even the adge verification process although a nessessary pain went without hitch and you only have to do this once, any future orders just go straight through. Summary, great starter knife sutable for hands smaller than my dinner plates, not top line but very capable, great asthetics, and a perfect first knife that even stands up to abuse like batonning."

"Lovely little knife, my first Bushcraft style knife, I usually use bigger sheath and swiss knives, but I love this for small tasks, a great knife at this price. I couldnt get the knife into the sheath straight out of the box, but it did after softening, although I have another sheath for the knife, and this will fit another tool so very happy. I can recommend this."

"Very happy with this knife, its my first purpose made bushcraft knife and i am very pleased with it, i think its well worth the money! comes in a very nice box not that it will be seeing much of the knife, but presentation was very nice, happy with the quick delivery, overall the handle is very nice and easy to hold and could work with it for hours! its got a nice weight to it, i wouldn't class this as a cheap feeling knife, its very well made and well worth the money :) five star! cheers!"

"Great value and excellently presented in a box to give as a gift. The blade is more than adequate to begin with straight out of the box, but after an hour or so working needed a "touch up" until onto the wetstone. Holds the edge lovely afterwards. The sheath is nice, and is better after a good oiling. A fantastic "budget" knife for those that need a robust knife or a beginners knife. As this was my first order with this company I have to say blown away by speed and efficiency of delivery I wont be going back to previous supplier. Many Thanks."

"Good value and well presented. It's a good starter knife as an alternative to Mora's if you prefer a more "traditional" look. It's not very sharp out of the box though and does require sharpening. But, then again, if it's a beginners knife, it's good to practice sharpening anyway. Feels solid and well made, with a full tang and a wide blade. The sheath is basic but does the job and the firesteel is reasonable (may get better after some use and wear is put into it. Overall, this is a decent knife at a good price, delivered with the usual speed and service."
