The EnZo Trapper Curly Birch/ S30V is a beautiful, full-tang knife that has been specially designed for Bushcraft and outdoor survival skills. Careful attention to detail has been made with all aspects of the knifes appearance, and of course functionality. This precision made bushcraft knife has been constructed using the best quality knife steel and blade grinds (flat Scandinavian grind), and also offers a lovely grainy curly birch (Masur) wooden handle which has been oiled and waxed, the ideal handle material for a bushcraft knife. The handle is set off by lovely red liners.
The steel used to make any bushcraft and survival knife is vitally important, and the EnZo Trapper is made using one of the very best bushcraft knife steels available, CMP S30V Stainless Powder Steel. The blade has an ideal thickness of 3.5mm and is 9.5cm long, which gives great control to the user. The surface of the blade has a bead blasted finish, meaning it's not overly reflective.
CMP S30V Stainless Powder steel offers a strong resistance to corrosion and general wear. CMP S30V Stainless Powder Steel was originally developed by Crucible Materials Corporation in collaboration with renowned knife maker Chris Reeve. The scientific changes to the chemistry means that the steel has a very refined grain, which in turn aids the sharpness of the blade, whilst keeping its edge for much longer than other bushcraft and survival knife steels.
