Rite Edge Razor Strop

Rite Edge Razor Strops are the ideal accompaniment for your bushcraft knife sharpening set.  Razor strops are used once your knife has been sharpened with a whetstone or bench stone. Simply run the sharpened knife blade across the smooth leather surface in a motion as if trying to skim the top layer of leather. This will remove microscopic burs from the cutting edge of your knife. Stropping the blade leaves an unbelievably sharp edge, much more refined than if used solely with a stone. Our strops may be used in conjunction with Stagenpaste, a honing paste designed for fine sharpening and polishing of blades.

Leather Knife Strops

The Rite Edge strops are available in both 55 cm and 58 cm sizes. The 55cm version offers a handle one end and clip on the other end, whilst the 58cm leather strop has a handle one end and stainless steel loop on the other end.
