Flexcut Knife Strop

The secret to making knives very sharp is to strop them, and the Flexcut Knife Strop is the ideal tool to do just that with. The leather stropping surface measures 20cm x 5cm and is large enough for most wood working tools, not just Flexcut knives, and the majority of fine edge bushcraft knives too.

IF needed, first sharp your cutting tool with a whetstone or bench stone, then coat the surface of the strop with some gold compound (supplied). Next  lie the blade flat and skim across the surface (each side of the blade) of the strop to achieve a factory-sharp cutting edge on your knives. The Flexcut Strop may be clamped down or hand-held and is approximately the same size as a standard bench style honing stone.
