Welcome to the new-look Greenman Bushcraft website!

As this version of the site is very new, please bear with us whilst we add our new ranges of stock, and adjust a few things in order to make it as smooth and easy to use as possible.  If you notice any mistakes or have any difficulties whilst trying to order, please do let us know, and we will fix them right away.

There have been some big changes at Greenman over the past 6-9 months, which is partly why we have not been constantly updating the site with new content.

Greenman Bushcraft is now run by the Oaks Online Shopping Company Ltd.  This will not affect you, or how you order from us in any way, but you will need to update your details if you pay via cheque or bank transfers.

As well as this change, Greenman Bushcraft now has its own, larger warehouse where we hold a very large stock of our goods. This means faster turnaround times for your order and also gives you the chance to come and see the goods before you purchase them if you wish (you will need to make an appointment first, please e-mail for a booking form).

One other important change that we need to make you aware of is this, we have removed the dedicated sales lines and now have a separate customer service number (please see the contact details).  If you have a product question or want to place an order on the telephone you are still more than welcome, but this new line will not always be manned.  The reason for this is to speed up the order processing (for Ecommerce) and get your order to you as quickly as possible.  We still answer our e-mails quickly and will always take calls when we can. The new number goes straight through to our warehouse, and not the offices so please choose the correct option from our contact page should you need to speak with us for any reason.

Some other changes which will be of interest are....

VAT – We have added an option to the site so you can view prices including or excluding VAT.

CLEARER NAVIGATION – We have worked hard on making the site even easier to navigate than it was prior to the changes.  You will find we have fewer categories, but you will notice each category expands with other options.  We now have the products displayed by pages, and not just a long list.  You will also be able to search by product brands, or simply search the whole site with the main search option located on the top right-hand corner. 
 
ACCOUNTS – For your ease, if you are planning on making lots of purchases we have an option for you to create an account with us.  Having an account with us will also mean your orders are sent even faster, and you will be eligible for account holder benefits when they are available, so it’s well worth doing and its fast and easy too! Also, see the tracking feature, below.

ORDER TRACKING - If you have an account with us, you can now check current and previouse orders through our site, and also see when they have been dispatched!

AGE RESTRICTED GOODS – There have been a few new additions of the checkout process, including a few extra detail boxes for age restricted goods.  It’s vital that you input accurate data here, including your full name and DOB.  We also advise that you view our updated terms.

NEW BRANDS – We have, and will continue to launch many new brands to our range.  We also plan to expand the current range within the brands we already stock.

REVIEWS – You now have the option to place your own reviews on the site about products you have purchased from us.

COURSES – we have changed how our courses are run.  We now have just one instructor, who will run several high quality courses each year.  These details will be found on the courses page along with dates once we have them. 

BLOG – if you’re reading this then you have already found our new blog.  This will differ from our old news section and will include product reviews, articles, new products that we stock and of course any important course information or other announcements. 

NEW LOOK – Of course with the new version of the Greenman site you will also notice a brand-new look, although the key features have remained roughly where they were. We hope you find this new look cleaner, and easier to use.

ENLARGING PICTURES – We have added a new feature to the site, which if the file is large enough will give you an enhanced view of the product(s).

DEAL OF THE DAY – Something we think you will all enjoy is our new deal of the day.  These will first appear a couple of weeks after the launch of the new-look site.  Look out for the banner on the homepage.  We will have several new deals each week, and every now and then we will have something which is so cheap, you just won’t be able to say no!

EVEN MORE CHANGES – You will notice more changes over the coming months and throughout 2011, so please check back on a regular basis to see new features, new products, interesting articles, product reviews, and of course the deal of the day!
