Drop Point Bushcraft Puukko Knife
(Approx $60.1169)
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A fine piece of craftsmanship from the Finnish part of Lapland. This is a great multi-pupose Scandinavian knife that will stand tough usage in the forest, for hunting, fishing, carving, etc. The knife fits the hand perfectly, and is of an ideal shape for bushcraft.
The blade is approx 8cm (3.15 inches) long, is very sharp and is made from quality High Carbon Steel hardened to HRC 63-65 and tempered to HRC 59 to balance ductility and brittleness.
The blade extends with an internal tang secured to the top of the handle with a rivet. The blade is natural, unpolished carbon black. It has a single bevel flat Scandinavian grind.
The handle is made from a combination of curly birch, thin layers of leather and reindeer antler. It has a beautifully designed shape which fits well in the hand and is finished off very smoothly, without being slippery.
The sheath is made from full-grain vegetable-tanned cow hide and it has a reindeer leather belt hanger attached to it.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS
"What's not to like about this knife? Feels great in the hand, great edge, easy to use sheath and sharpens well. good for most tasks."
"Really nice knife, it just feels right in the hand. The blade is VERY, VERY sharp and of a high quality. Works great with modern firesteels and even natural flit (use the back of the blade of course). The sheath is also very nice. This is now my prefered choice when I leave for the woods!"

"A beatiful knife, the handle is a joy to hold and the blade works extremely well for all tasks."
"Great knife, keeps a good edge, wonderfully made and has a nice feel in the balm of my hand. only issue is the back of the blade is not suitable for use with fire steel. (Mod Update) - the back of the blades can benefit for 'roughing' with a file to help aid this, although we find they do work with most modern flint rods."
"Love everything about this knife. Be careful of tannin stains, especially from oak and hawthorn."
